1. 6/9(nice) LAUNDRY DAY

[Nier's standing out in the summer wearing a heavy sweater and a winter coat. Look, he feels cold. His poor blood circulation makes his body temperature weird.

It might be strange for someone to be dressed so heavily in the middle of June nonetheless.]

This should be a good spot.

[He pulls a tablecloth from his bag and starts shaking it out. For some reason there's tons and tons of glitter falling everywhere. If you're not careful you might find yourself covered with golden sparkles.]

2. 6/11 PARK

[Nier isn't sure what's happening anymore. He lost his voice over the past couple of weeks. He's thinks it might be from fatigue or stress. This really sucks. He can't communicate too well like this.

On a small 3x3 sticky note he writes a message and hands it to the next person he sees.]

I found a longsword in my apartment this morning.

It's kind of dangerous so I don't really want to mess around with it too much.

How did a thing like that end up in my home in the first place? I'm pretty sure I locked the door.

Guys make sure you double check your front doors and keys.

This app stuff is weird.

The sword has bloodstains on the edge and it looks really old.

I've had sword training, and I rather not fall out of practice.

In that case, I don't mind giving it to you.

Just be careful when you train with that thing. It doesn't have a sheath and it feels like an old war weapon.

[And sure enough about twenty minutes later, there's a knock on his door. With him, he has a towel and a box of cupcakes he brought from his cafe. Payment!]

[ Nier quietly opens the door for Jun. He nearly spanks his head on the doorframe while doing so. They have become his natural enemy. ]

Make yourself at home.

Nier makes a gesture for Jun to enter inside. It's a small apartment space. There's only one bed and one couch out in the open. If Jun looks more closely he might see scratches on the floor. Nier was having trouble with the sword earlier and made a dent on the floorboards. The blade is resting on the wall just waiting to be picked up. ]

You actually know how to use one of these. What's up with that?

[He'll step into the apartment as he's invited in. A glance around..it's a pretty simple place. But he supposes that's to be expected on a college student budget]

Here, for you. [Seeing how Nier almost hurt himself on the door he's just...going to set the box on a nearby table. Yeah. Guy wasnt the most graceful of people so lets not tempt fate.

With those out of his hand, he'll meander over to the sword to inspect]

Haha, oh you know- it's just one of those odd skills you learn as a kid. [...sure]

You learned swords when you were a child? ...That's kind of intense.

[ Nier has no idea what a normal childhood should be so he just nods and sounds amazed. The sword straight up looks like it came from a different time period. Jun may notice the sword is extremely light in weight and it should be easy to carry back home.]

I know of someone who can fight well so it doesn't seem that strange to me. Some people just have different interests.

Ha...I suppose it is. I was a strange kid.

[It already sounds like Nier is rationalizing the oddity, so Jun won't elaborate further than that. Depending on how things play out with this app, there might come a day where Jun will need to be forthcoming about what he is. But there's no need to rush that.

After examining the sword, he'll carefully pick it up. Sure enough, he seems pretty confident in how he handles it - almost like it's second nature. He does a gentle, in-control practice swing to get a feel. It's much lighter than his usual sword. He'll have to be careful not to swing too hard. ]

It's strange that you'd get sent this. I got a paperclip in an envelope.

A single paperclip in the mail? What the hell.

Maybe the sender just wants you to stay organized. [ Use paperclips for their intended purpose and keep your notes tidy. ]

Hm, I agree with it being strange. At first I thought it might be a fake sword but then it felt real.

You're using it now so I think you'd know what I mean.

Perhaps. I don't get it either. [He tried to figure out if there was any significance...but as far as he could tell, it was a regular old paperclip.]

I think I do ... [Especially if this guy isn't familiar with real weapons, like most civilians] It's a real sword though, I can tell that much.

We're not looking at a fake then. [ Go figure. It's an actual weapon that feels like it should belong in a museum somewhere. The blade seems to suit Jun more so Nier doesn't mind passing it over to him. ]

The first time I held that sword in my hand I kinda freaked out. I had a vision or something like that, I guess.

[ Is it normal for people to suddenly see visions or have scenes flash into their mind without any warning? Probably not. The strange app might be at work here, but he felt the need to mention it. ]

Have you experienced anything like that?

[Well that piques his curiosity. He looks away from the blade and looks at Nier instead]

...I haven't, but I know someone who has. What was this vision about?

I saw a strange figure. Maybe it was a monster? I couldn't really tell what it was.

[ Nier's trying to recall the details of the vision he saw. Some of it's really vague so it's difficult for him to make a better description. ]

The weird thing had this deformed shape and glowing eyes. It just left me feeling a bit unsettled. I'd prefer it if you could take this sword home.

That would bring me some comfort. [ He would like to pretend everything's fine and that's just some hallucination he had.]

I see...

[A strange monstrous figure huh? Jun goes quiet at that for a moment. He can confirm that it probably wasn't a hallucination but....Nier seems to be not ready to accept that yet. For now, he wanted to continue his normal life.]

...Very well. I'll take it from here.

[He'll take the sword. Walking over to a table, he'll unroll the towel and start wrapping it around the blade. ]

Sure thing, although I don't see myself needing it anytime soon. I'm still trying to become a doctor. What kind of medical practitioner runs around with swords? That's just silly.

[ He smiles a little and tries to make a joke to lighten the mood. ]

I hope that towel's going to be enough for you to carry it home safely.

Haha, true. Haven't seen many doctors wielding something like that in the doctor's office. [He shrugs] Still, you never know.

[The sword...if he had a vision with it, it had to mean more than just a random item. But he's not going to press that for now. Nier doesn't seem ready.]

I'm sure it'll be fine. [All wrapped up now, he'll lift it to carry it under his arm] You take care, Nier.

[ Nier sighs and takes a look around. That's right, Jun brought some cupcakes. He lights up a little when he notices them. ]

Those cupcakes look good.
