Well, it won't be that heavy. [Yuys pushes open the door to walk inside.] Hello!

[He heads straight for the counter as the cashier greets him with familiarity. It's quaint, and the two of them get into an immediate conversation about tea since that's what Yuya's here for.]

[ As Yuya talks with the cashier, Judai takes a look around. This is the first time that he's been inside the ryokan. Picking up one of the brochures, he reads through. Blah blah blah it's been here for generations blah blah blWHOOOOOOOOOA WAIT A MINUTE ]

Yuya, they got an onsen here!

[ were you busy talking? stop. pay attention to judai right now ]

[And thus Yuya's conversation about tea is interrupted.

He's about to ask about their stock on a peach green tea blend when Judai calls out. This is like bringing a child to the grocery store. He looks over his shoulder.]

Oh, yeah. [He lives here, he knows.] It's pretty popular.

[ shouldn't have let judai tag along, yuya ]

We should go together! It's been forever since I've been at an onsen!

Maybe later, I really have to do these errands... [Or he would if the cashier wasn't leaning around to talk to Judai about rates and rooms, if he's interested. The tea he's supposed to get for Yuya sits trapped under his hand.]

[ He is definitely interested! He will listen, trying to remember what he is being told, but he has some tact. He will address Yuya partway through because yes, gotta do these errands. ]

All right, let's get your errands done so we can come on back! Nothing's beat bonding at an onsen and scrubbing each other's backs.

You know, most people wear swimsuits here... [He doesn't think any scrubbing occurs? In the end, it's still Americanized.

But, all right, the cashier leaves a pamphlet with Judai before returning to the counter to get all of Yuya's tea blends, tightly packaged for freshness. Yuya starts loading them into his tote bag.]

[ He will take the pamphlet and fold it to put into his back pocket. He will then peer over Yuya's shoulder to watch him pack away the tea blends. Ohh, nice packaging. ]

Why? Getting naked is how you bond.

Getting naked together isn't really something people do here. [Well. Not in the platonic way.] There's lots of other ways to bond, isn't there?

Yeah, I guess, but you won't know how great it is unless you try it.

[Yuya instead turns around to hand his payment off to the cashier, not phased by puppy eyes. He tucks the bag under his arm as puts away his wallet.] I'm going to take these back to the teahouse before running more errands.

[Like he needs to give Judai a play by play of what they're doing. He waves off the cashier before heading for the door.]

[ Judai nods. He will just tag around Yuya for the rest of the day, pointing out things that's different from Japan. yap yap yap ]
