So uh.
Today I found five puppies and a gun on my doorstep? And I'm pretty sure these are Leon's, but they don't seem to like him anymore. I don't know what's up with that, but it's like they thought he wasn't their owner. It was way different when I saw him with them before.
Anyway, the place mom and I live in isn't really big enough for all these dogs. They're bloodhounds, I think? Except the little black one. Mom says she can stay, but I need to find homes for the rest of these guys...
Anybody think they've got room for a dog?
[ ooc: Leon didn't name his dogs so Deuce is calling them Benedict, Florentine, Quiche, and Omelette. Rename if desired or enjoy his very particular theme.
Edit: goofed on game mechanics, Leon's around but a normie npc so the dogs treat him like a stranger. ]

[He gets to the Spade household pretty quickly, the magic of taxis.
He stands in front of the door, not knowing if he should knock or ring the doorbell, so he takes out his phone instead.]
I'm here.

[ Time to get up from the puppy pile, straighten his clothes, and hurry to the door. Those same puppies crowd around his legs as he opens that door to let Malleus in. ]
Come in- [ He pauses, shooing puppies aside. ] They're uh...pretty friendly.

[This is adorable. Malleus steps inside, trying not to step on puppy legs, and takes off his shoes.]
Have they been running after you the whole time?

[ It sure is different, having a puppy wreath around him at all times. ]

[He bends down to pet the closest puppy, chuckling when he feels how soft the ball of fur is.]
Where to?

[ Deuce picks up one of the puppies to make it easier for Malleus to follow him, tipping his head in the direction of his bedroom before heading that way.
His room is small, and not terribly remarkable. His furnishings are blue and white, a matched set by appearances, some half-disassembled device on his desk and his track jacket hanging from a hook on the wall.
In his windowsill sits a little potted primrose Malleus had given him on his last birthday, healthy and well-tended. ]

It's cozy.
His eyes go big when he sees the flower, and smiles.]
You still have the flower.

Of course I do. It was a gift from you, after all.
[ How could he let Malleus down, after being entrusted with one of the plants he'd taken such good care of? He's no rose gardener like Malleus is, but he can follow instructions and take care of his little plant. ]

About the dogs...Help me get pictures of them.

Okay, who should we start with first?

[The one on the bed looks like it wants to curl up and sleep. It yawns and yips before making circles on the bed.]
