So uh.

Today I found five puppies and a gun on my doorstep? And I'm pretty sure these are Leon's, but they don't seem to like him anymore. I don't know what's up with that, but it's like they thought he wasn't their owner. It was way different when I saw him with them before.

Anyway, the place mom and I live in isn't really big enough for all these dogs. They're bloodhounds, I think? Except the little black one. Mom says she can stay, but I need to find homes for the rest of these guys...

Anybody think they've got room for a dog?

[ ooc: Leon didn't name his dogs so Deuce is calling them Benedict, Florentine, Quiche, and Omelette. Rename if desired or enjoy his very particular theme.

Edit: goofed on game mechanics, Leon's around but a normie npc so the dogs treat him like a stranger. ]

I think dogs and cats can learn to get along, anyway. Like those videos people post online where they're buddies and all.

I know they can but like if those dogs were trained for police stuff its hard for them to be like... actual pet dogs

Okay, so.

Florentine really likes to be right next to you and she's pretty quiet and calm. Omelette's really big on the belly rubs and gets excited about everything. And I do mean everything, I worried her back end would wiggle off with how much she wags her tail for a bit there.

Who'd fit in better?

You got it. Where can I bring her to? I got her fixed up with a leash and collar and I fed everyone just a bit ago.

Awful hot out for that, but okay. I met some huge guy the other day who said he didn't mind being outside either...

[ It's not too long before he rolls up on a bicycle, puppy riding in a crate secured behind his seat. The pavement's too hot for puppy paws, he reasoned. ]

[ Casually insults his own parents. Anyway, when Deuce arrives, there will indeed be a redhead adult lying down on the lawn over a towel with a fat cat on his stomach. [ Wonders of the world indeed. He can't help watching the fellow and the cat as he passes by. Doesn't the heat bother him...? Truly mysterious.

He isn't sure whether he'd be interrupting whatever they're doing, so he walks his bike up to the door and knocks. ]

[ It doesn't take long for someone to come and open the door. This person who looks like Connor greets Deuce with a friendly smile on his face--he gives a totally different atmosphere than Connor does.

"Hello? Can I help you with something?" ]

Ahh, wait! That's for me!

[ Connor runs up to the front door. ]

Wow, you came over fast!

[ The other person, presumably Connor's twin sibling, looks at Connor, then at Deuce, and back to Connor.

"You have friends?"

He sounds genuinely surprised instead of making fun of him. ]

[ Deuce eyes Connor's sibling, but he opts not to comment. He doesn't have any brothers or sisters, maybe this kind of thing is normal.

I figured it'd be rude to keep you waiting... You might have places to be, and stuff.
