A few questions:
1) For those who just arrived in Vitae: Where were you before and what year was it?
2) For those who live in Vitae: How long have you lived here and before receiving this app, have you ever had an experience that you'd describe as unexplainable by science or "supernatural"?
3) Please tell me which of these brands are familiar to you:
- a) Duel Monsters, Magic: The Gathering, Vantage Masters
- b) Rolex, Kronos Orden, TimeKeepers Inc
- c) Xiphone, Apple
Thank you.

I was still trying to get a handle on Vantage Master.
[look he's used to a lot of weirdos, you just go with it]
Uh, maybe?
I don't know anything about interdimensional travel, so it's a little early to say.
Why?

and see whats different
i want to know what your earth is like
and i can show you real duel monsters!
no subject
Oh, yeah! That WOULD be cool!
I could show you around Morimiya and you could meet my friends.
Is Duel Monsters really popular in your world? Are there tournaments?
no subject
tell me about your friends too!
its super popular!
everyone plays it
there are a lot of tournaments and pro players
one friend is pro and the other is working to be one

There's a great anime shop, an arcade, and I live near a park with a lake and a skateboard course.
And my friends are great! Kou works part-time jobs all the time, but he's really good at cards. Shiori loves to read and wants to travel the world. And Ryouta's lazy, a little useless, and a little obsessed with this idol group- but you couldn't ask for a more loyal guy.
[He loves Ryouta, truly]
Wow, that sounds amazing! I've played card matches online, but I've never been to an official tournament.
Are you a pro?
no subject
your friends sound really cool
id like to meet him oneday!
ill have to challenge kou to cards!
not officially
but ive duelled against some and won
and i played on behalf on my school
so im pretty good
[ When it comes to duelling, Judai isn't very humble because he's planning on becoming number one!! ]
no subject
Haha, I'm sure he'd like that! He's really good, better than I am.
That's still cool!
You must be good if you can do that.
no subject
i guess its both a good and bad thing that theyre not here
i still got a long way to go but im getting there!
what about you
what are you really good at
no subject
And you're not wrong, I have mixed feelings about them not being around.
[He misses them a lot, but ...yeah, this is probably safer
BUT BOY. WHAT A QUESTION. There's a pause]
I don't know.
I guess I'm a pretty good cook?
no subject
or maybe you can draw them
o yeah?
i should try your cooking someday!
whats your best dish
no subject
Ryouta's the guy in green, Kou's the one with the white vest, and Shiori's wearing the pink shirt.
Crème caramel, probably. I make it as a reward for myself sometimes.
no subject
was this during new years
text me the next time you make it?
ill bring over something to make up for taking a piece!
[ ... once he finds something that's worth giving in exchange for food. ]
no subject
And most of them are more Kou's friends, really.
[Read: They'd be Jun's friends too, and probably want to be -- but Jun's too much of an idiot to figure out that out. ]
Sure! It might be awhile though.

i think the last one was in junior high
thanks!
itd be nice to eat desserts again
that arent crackers
no subject
There was live music, and lots of food stalls, and the fireworks were really pretty!
[Look it was his first summer festival ever ok]
I don't think crackers count as a dessert.
But I understand what you mean.
no subject
glad you had a lot of fun
wonder if this place has festivals as well
they dont?
then what are they
no subject
It'd be nice if it did.
A snack?
Desserts are sweet.
no subject
lets just host our own!
its sweet if you put sugar on it
no subject
But neither of us have the money to do that.
Like...plain sugar?
no subject
we can worry about the details later
yea
sometimes sugar packets are all you got
you know?
no subject
I guess so...
I'll try to get you some real desserts.
no subject
thanks jun

A convention for a social media site that went terribly due to poor planning and scamming.
It became infamous on the internet after they tried to refund visitors with an "extra hour in the ballpit".
This ballpit.
no subject
i wouldnt mind an hour in the ball pit
